p { text-align: justify; } Luděk Rathouský is a painter, co-founder of the group Rafani and currently head of the Painting Studio 2 at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Brno. The monograph EXIT reflects on Rathouský’s creative processes and themes to date. Three specifically focused essays present his work in various connotations and contexts. In his essay The Artist’s Story, Václav Magid focuses on the development of Rathouský’s creative principles. In her contribution ‘The Painter in the Post-Digital Age’, Kateřina Štroblová explores the characteristic themes and ideas of the work, whilst Kaliopi Chamonikolasová provides a scholarly analysis of the artist’s ‘Gothic’ paintings. The fourth chapter consists of a short self-reflection by the artist. The book is supplemented by a wealth of visual material and is published in a Czech-English bilingual edition. The covers are fabric-bound with hot-stamped lettering.
